GAETI 2018

Sadly our week went by waaaaay to fast!
I enjoyed every minute of each day.
GAETI has positively impacted my life. I have grown professionally and I have met some wonderful people and made some lifetime friends.

We jumped right in this morning. Ms. Stephanie Agnew taught us how to create over sized professional posters for conferences. She went into great detail on how to edit it and save it in pdf format for printing.

What a busy day. Dr. Lee taught us all about Adobe Spark. We also learned about 3D printing, and we had a presenter to share with us on how to present to groups.  Overall it was a good day!

Wow! Back at GAETI 2018! Saw some old faces and met some new friends. The highlight for today, HANDS DOWN, was our presenter Mr. Reginald Ware. Whoop! Whoop! He did an AMAZING job. He was funny and held all of our attention. He spoke on PRACTICAL Classroom Management Techniques. He kept it 100!

GAETI2015: DAY 20

It's been a great ride this summer at the GAETI 2015 Institute.  All month long we have been busy learning innovative ways to educate and keep our students engaged by incorporating technology into the classroom.  We learned about google docs, skype, blogging, making computer games, developing our own web page through weebly, and so much more.   We were also equipped with valuable resources such as free sites, free books, and information that we can utilize to become better teachers.  My take away from this institute is the same as when I first started.  I simply want to fain the skills I need to be the best teacher I can be for my students.  As a new teacher, I plan to hit the ground running this upcoming semester.  I want to be great at reaching and teaching all of my students.  This institute was fantastic!  I would highly recommend it to others who are interested in moving in a new instructional direction.

 

GAETI 2015: DAY 18

We covered a lot of information in a small amount of time. I don't know if I can even remember it all. We moved through canvas, weebly, and back to canvas again. Hopefully I can retain this wealth of knowledge that we have been introduced to. I really lost track when we were working in weebly trying to make our canvas page for  our own particular class. Nevertheless, I did complete my art project today, and I was satisfied with the outcome of my project. After we complete this institute I will take it and have it framed.
